Joel & Shelley Family Portrait Photoshoot

The photo shooting was taken in South Perth Esplanade, Perth-WA.

I got there about 9AM, scouting around the area finding some spots to shoot.

At about 10AM the clients arrived! Joel and Shelley were awesome clients.

They know what particular pose that they want, but at the same time they’re easily followed my direction as well.

The best shot of the day!!

It was a beautiful day, sun was shining quite bright and a bit warm actually.

I’m very happy with the results came out. The clients are happy!! all good!

Anyone hungry? check out this fine Japanese Restaurant!

I had the opportunity to shoot my friend’s restaurant. It’s called … SHIRO IZAKAYA Japanese Restaurant.

Located in the central of Perth, 150c St Georges Terrace Central Park, Hay Street.

Fine Japanese Cuisine at its best!! If you guys in Perth, WA you have to try this! it’s a must 😀

It’s a perfect place for couple who want to spend a romantic dinner over-seeing nice view of the city. The lighting really set the mood.

Lens:

Additional lighting:

Canon 580EXII

I didn’t use much flash during the shooting, because I didn’t it. My 5Dmk2 handles low lighting shooting really well. I only used it for the food close-up shoot.

Perth City Random Shots

It was a lovely day yesterday. A bit warm with a touch of breeze. Nice day!

Took my family out for a walk in the city, grab my awesome 5Dmk1 and Sigma 24mm lens.

Snaps a few shots while we’re there.

The Dark Woods @The Velvet Lounge 28 Oct 2011

Had a great time shooting these boys last night.

Funk-rock with an attitude! that’s what i would call them.

The velvet lounge is a dark venue with only a few steady dimmed-lights on. You absolutely cannot get a great-clear-crisp photos without any additional photo lighting.

So, thanks to my Canon Speedlite!! It saved me some great photos!!

Church Together, G.O Edward Park – 23rd October 2011

It was such an awesome event!

Hundreds of Churches gathered up all together in 1 night!

I’m truly grateful to be part of it.

Unfortunately i was not able to cover the whole event due to unfitness of my body (yes, i know i gotta exercise more!)

The highlights of the night for was the ‘break-dancing’.

I had to be alert, wide-eyes opened waiting for great movements.

The worship teams were great too! nice work guys!!

Lighting was great and made it easy for me to capture every moment of it!
